This is the way I like Mungo
Jerry the most... "No
Bullshit" 100% pure Skiffle / Blues / Rock / Bop / Billy..
and a lot of fun. In a packed full Processed Pea in Etton Ray
Dorset gave us, together with Mike Cole and Garry Pullen ( from the
Doghouse Skiffle Group) , two wonderful evenings, Ray is not only
a great musician but also great entertainer, he amused the audience
the whole evening with wonderful stories about his career.
During the gig on wednesday the 2th, Ray invited a few guys to
sing along on stage, Alan Tailor, Mike Rose (Wild Love) and me (
Feels Like I'm In Love). The gig on the 1st is recorded on video
and soon available through the Mungo Jerry online shop: http://www.mungojerry.com/shop
Ray, Mike and me drove on wednesday to the BBC radio studio in
Hull for a interview. The next day 3th June ( my birthday) Ray
dropped me off at the railway station to catch a train to
Manchester airport for my flight back to Brussels. (a year ago I
moved from Holland to Belgium) Thanks to Derek Wadeson for pick
me up in Manchester on the 1th June and dropped me off at the
hotel in Beverley. Thanks again to Ray Dorset, Mike Cole and
Garry Pullen for the rwo wonderful evenings. Now it's up to the
45th anniversarry....
